![]() You’ll see a Customize Button Assignments option appear here. Activate the Enable Custom Button Assignments option by pressing X. Scroll down on the Accessibility screen, select Button Assignments, and press X. But if you exit or minimize Big Picture and then run games you'll just get keyboard emulation, which isn't ideal for most games. Select the Accessibility category on the Setting screen that appears and press X. ![]() Without VirtualHere (and correctly running the game through Big Picture) the Link just interprets the controller as x-input and sends simple button commands back to Steam, which then sends them to the game. In that case you can use DS4 to get controller support. It costs money, but VirtualHere can tunnel USB devices from the Link through to your PC, which makes your PC think it's directly connected to that. If you can't manage that then VirtualHere and a USB cable or bluetooth dongle could be another solution. The easiest way would be to correctly launch the game through Big Picture, there are various fixes for uPlay, Origin, etc. If the game uses a launcher then the controller support will be given to that launcher, and not the game that basically runs after the launcher. If you do run it through Big Picture then make sure that it's launching the game exe directly. When you don't run a game through Big Picture you lose controller support.
